The samples were collected from a Chinese refinery.The sodium hydroxide(Na OH)reagent is of analytical grade.The sample was crushed,screened,and ground to less than150μm.The main element contents were measured by an atomic absorption spectrophotometer(Hitachi AAS-180/80)and a carbon/sulfur analyzer(LECO CS-600).The compositions of valuable metals in spent petrochemical catalyst are listed in Table 1.The main phases are retgersite,2-deoxystreptamine,silicon oxide,vanadium oxide,zinc sulfide,aluminum oxide,and molybdenum oxide according to the X-ray diffraction analysis(PANalytical X’Pert PRO)shown in Fig.1.
