Thus far，Baosteel has developed tw o grades of QP steels w ith different TS values:QP980 w ith TS greater than 1 000 M Pa and elongation greater than20%，and QP1180 w ith TS greater than 1 200 M Pa and elongation greater than 14%.Each grade has three surface types:uncoated（CR），galvanized（GI），and galvannealed（GA）.Due to their high strength and good formability，QP steels have become a good choice for automotive structural and safety parts w ith complex shapes and high strength requirements.The chemical composition and mechanical properties of QP steels are show n in Tables 1and 2，respectively.M eanw hile，Baosteel has also become the w orld’s first company to produce the3rd Gen.AHSS.
