The vanadium-bearing titanomagnetite concentrates in this paper were obtained from Hongge District in Panzhihua,China.The HVTMP were prepared using the gas-based direct reduction process(shaft furnace).The compositions of the reducing gas were H2+CO+CO2+N2=100%in volume.The proportions of CO2 and N2 were both 5.00vol%,which simulated the HYL-III process.The reduction temperature was 1323 K,and the reduction time was 40 min.The reduction degree of HVTMP was as high as 95%.Details of the preparations of HVTMP have been reported in a previous study[17].The typical chemical compositions and X-ray diffraction(XRD)analysis results for HVTMP are listed in Table 1 and Fig.1,respectively.The basic phase is metallic Fe,and the metallization ratio is 91.24%.In addition,the phases of Fe Ti O3,Fe V2O4,Fe Cr2O4,Mg Ti O3,V2O3,and Cr2O3 were also detected in the reduced pellets.
