“红绿帖”，指旧时婚姻所用的证书，纸为红绿二色，因此叫做红绿贴。红贴是男方给女方递的求帖，绿贴是女方同意出嫁的允帖，如果双方同意成亲，则收受对方帖子（2）。杨译和蓝译直接将意义译出，斯译“the red and green marriage card”，容易让人产生歧义，以为是“婚礼邀请函”，因为card有一个义项是“a card used to send greetings，issue an invitation”。莱译使用“red-green certificates”并加脚注“wedding certificates were traditionally printed on paper that was colored red and green”，说明结婚证的纸张颜色，但未能完全解释清楚不同颜色的不同用途。因此，可以在加注时补充完整，笔者试译为“wedding certificates，with the one in red offered by the husband’s side for proposing marriage，and the other in green offered by the wife’s side for accepting marriage”，既考虑读者的理解与接受，又传递了原词的文化，做到“求真-务实”的统一。
