According to section 2.4,Modified Page model was the most suitable model to describe the moisture change of Codonopsis pilosula roots dried by AIJD.However,the values of k and n of the Modified Page need further being determined under a certain drying condition.Only in this way,the MR change versus drying time under the corresponding drying condition can be predicted.With the parameters value of Modified Page model used as the response value,a three-level-three-factor,Box-Behnken factorial design was adopted.By doing this,the regression equations between the Modified Page model parameters and drying technology conditions(air temperature,DJNMT and air velocity)were established,and interactions among three studied factors were also analyzed.Factors and levels of the RSM were shown in table 3.
