The survival rates of beetle adults and treatment temperatures could be well-fitted with the logistic equation:S(T)=exp(a+b×T)/(1+exp (a+b×T))(unmated females:R2=0.9417;mated females:R2=0.9486;unmated males:R2=0.9658;mated males:R2=0.9506).The LTemp50 dropped dramatically after copulation in both O.communa female and male adults,although the LTemp50 drops were unequal.The LTemp50 of mated females was 1.2°C lower than that of unmated females and the difference between mated and unmated males was 2.1°C(Table 1).
