In this study,drought-inducible transcription factors have been identified in sweetpotato line Xushu 55-2.Especially,18 NAC,20 MYB,32 bHLH,and 24 WRKY members were found to be significantly up-regulated under PEG6000stress(Table 3).Some members of histone-like,ERF,MADS-box,GATA,and bZIP families were also up-regulated(Table 3).Thus,this study provides important information for discovering and isolating the transcription factors and further illuminating the molecular mechanisms in sweetpotato drought tolerance.
