According to the results of the gene annotation in different databases,37 430(50.83%)of the 73 636 unigenes were annotated(Table 2);10 192(89.73%)of the 11 359 DEGs were annotated in at least one database,the remaining 1 167(10.27%)DEGs(831 up-regulated and 336 down-regulated)were unknown(Fig.3).These unknown DEGs might also play roles in drought tolerance of sweetpotato.
