两库中共检索出72个符合本研究标准的4词外壳名词词块。其中，中国库检索出43个；本族库检索出29个（见表1）。这些词块主要分布在PTR，STF，DTR子语料库，在STR和DTM子语料库中未检索出符合本研究要求的词块。本族库中出现频率最高的外壳名词词块为:in this paper we，this paper reports on，the results of the，the results suggest that等。中国库中出现频率最高的外壳名词词块是:this paper investigates the，this study aims to，the results shows that，the study suggests that等。两库共有的词块为:this paper reports on，this/the present study investigates the，this paper explores the，the results of the，the results indicate that．总体来看，中国库检索出的4词外壳名词词块要远多于本族库所检索出的数量。
