The AgMERRA reanalysis data were developed using the Goddard Earth Observing System(GEOS,version 5)model and a new meteorological data assimilation system(Molod et al.,2015).The dataset is based on NASA’s modern-Era Retrospective Analysis for Research and Application(MERRA)which covers a long period(1980–2010)(Rienecker et al.,2011) .This dataset also utilizes‘MERRA-Land’(Reichle et al.,2011)which can assimilate the 0.5o×0.5oprecipitation product of CPCU from 1980 to 2005 and the real-time precipitation product of CPC from 2006 to 2010(Chen et al.,2008).Table 2 presents the basic information of the five reanalysis precipitation datasets.
