The flow rate of two nitrogen streams and the water bath temperature have been set as shown in Table 1.Figure 3 illustrates the corresponding moisture content as detected by FTIR.It can be seen that,from the adjusting process of No.5–No.9,the moisture content would reach stable promptly by adjusting the flow rate of N2(1).The process of No.10 suggests that,by reducing the flow rate of N2(2),the moisture content slightly declines at a rather slow rate.The possible explanation of this phenomenon is inside the gas-washing bottle.Obviously there is a buffer space on the top of the bottle,whose size varies from 200 to 1000 mL depending on the water level.The moisture content in this space is directly related to water bath temperature and N2(2)flow rate.
