《Experimental investigation on plasma jet deflection with magnetic fluid control based on PIV measurement》
The effect of gas temperature on the jet deflection angle was verified experimentally above 2000 K.Figures 2(a)–(d)show photographs taken by a high-speed camera corresponding to conditions 1–4.The graph indicates the jet deflection angle increased with an increase in gas temperature.The experimental data in table 1 show that the jet deflection angle increased from 0.2°to 8.3°.At 2000 and 2200 K,the jet deflected amplitude shown in figures 2(a)and(b)was small,as was the calculated jet deflection angle.Above 2350 K,the jet deflecting amplitude in figures 2(c)and(d)clearly increased along with the calculated jet deflection angle.Table 1 indicates the jet deflection angle increased to 6.8°.
