The fermentation bed was a semi-aboveground fermentation pool,with the area of about 15 m2and the depth of 80 cm.Using dry lamination production technology,all kinds of materials(rich husk,sawdust,spent mushroom substrate)and strains were successively loaded into the fermentation pool according to the designed proportion.The surface layer of 20-30 cm was simply turned over,and drenched through with clean water.The pool was mulched with film and fermented for 5 d before use.After the film was uncovered,the surface layer of 20 cm was simply turned over and exposed to air for 2 d.The moisture of padding at the surface layer of 5 cm was regulated till there was no dust,about 40%humidity,before rearing pigs in the barn.The proportions of various padding combinations are shown in Tab.1.
