Effect on yellowing rate of papaya fruit It could be seen from Table 2 that the pericarp color of various treatments gradually turned yellow over time.All individuals in the CK all turned yellow on the 21thday;and until the 55thday,the HH+1-MCP treatment showed the best effect,and had a yellowing rate only of61%,and the sole application of 1-MCP had a yellowing rate of80%.It could thus been known that the HH+1-MCP treatment had the best inhibiting effect on papaya color.
