《Identification RAPD Markers Linked to Texture Quality of Chinese Cabbage》
Twenty-four easy-chewed plants and twenty-four difficultchewed plants from the F2population were scored for chewy texture,as shown in Table 2.Then,the genetic DNA of the 48plants were extracted and amplified with primer OPA-06,as shown in Fig.4.The results showed that the DNA band of OPA06-1400appeared in 18 of the easy-chewed plants and 19 of the difficultchewed plants,so the recombination fraction(r)was 22.9%.Then,the recombination fraction was converted into genetic distance(d)using Kosambi's mapping function:
