Reaction conditions covered a poplar powder of 10.0 g,a methanol dosage of 100.0 g,a BFAME amount of 50.0 g(when it was applied in the reaction),and a reaction time of 1.0 h.

The poplar powder used in the experiments was P1.The decomposition rate of direct liquefaction of poplar powder in supercritical methanol and that of poplar powder co-refined with BFAME are shown in Table 1.It can be seen from Table 1 that the decomposition rate of poplar powder in biomass co-refining was higher than that of poplar powder achieved via direct liquefaction in methanol at three selected temperatures,i.e.280°C,320°C and 360°C,and the average increase in the decomposition rate was close to 10%,which proved that the liquefaction and decomposition of poplar powder were promoted by BFAME certainly.
