《Vehicle Ego-Localization Based on Streetscape Image Database Under Blind Area of Global Positioning System》
Running time of the study is shown in Table 1.We can find that establishing database is almost approximately equal to the total time,but the time required for each vehicle positioning is very short,about 3.6 s,meeting the actual needs of users.When the range of GPS blind area is wider,the time for pre-establishing database is longer,but it has lesser impacts for completing a vehicle positioning.Therefore,with expanding database,the advantages can be more obvious.Because the algorithm has portability,it can achieve the desired effect under different programming environments and operating systems.When it needs to apply in a shorter time,we can use other platforms(such as OpenCV and C++)to implement it,while the effectiveness of positioning is not affected.
