Annual water consumption over the two experimental seasons is shown in Table 7.The change of stored water content in the soil profile(2-m depth)between the date of maize sowing and that of the following wheat harvest ranged from 37 to 79 mm in 2013–2014 and from 49 to 73 mm in2014–2015.Annual ET was the lowest in M4,which was 42 and 24 mm lower than those for CK in 2013–2014 and 2014–2015,respectively.
