Compared with the control group，*P<0.05，**P<0.01；compared with the model group，#P<0.05，##P<0.01.

When membrane permeability is improved due to liver cell damage，ALT and AST would spill from cells and mitochondria，while the contents of ALT and AST in serum directly reflect the degree of liver cell injury，and are the most sensitive indicators of liver cell injury as well[21].And the contents of TC and TG are the sensitive indicators reflecting the metabolic block of fat in liver.After 28 d of treatment with VCFP at various doses，the effects on contents of ALT，AST，TC and TG in mouse serum are shown in Table 2.The contents of ALT，AST，TC and TG in the mouse serum of the model group increased very significantly compared with the control group（P<0.01）.After 28 d of treatment，compared with the model group，the low-dose VCFP group exhibited very significantly decreased AST，TC and TG contents（P<0.01）except ALT content（P<0.05）in mouse serum；the medium-dose VCFP group exhibited very significantly decreased ALT and TC contents（P<0.01），and significantly decreased AST and TG contents，in mouse serum（P<0.05）；and the high-dose VCFP group had very significantly decreased ALT，AST and TC contents（P<0.01）and significantly decreased TG content（P<0.05）in mouse serum.After 28 d of treatment，compared with the control group，the low-dose VCFP group had very significantly increased ALT，AST and TC contents（P<0.01）and significantly increased TG content（P<0.05），in mouse serum；the medium-dose VCFP group exhibited very significantly increased ALT and AST content（P<0.01），and significantly increased TC and TG contents（P<0.05），in mouse serum；and the high-dose VCFP group had no significant differences from the control group（P>0.05）.It indicates that VCFP has very good therapeutical effect on the recovery of liver cells after acute alcoholic liver injury.
