The PAPP(A→B)value of puerarin solution was(1.19±0.11)and the PAPP(B→A)value was(1.21±0.06).The B→A/A→B permeability RE of puerarin was(1.02±0.08)in the cell models,which suggested that puerarin was not P-gp substrate.This was consistent with the results of our previous study,which showed that the transport of puerarin on MDCK and MDCK-MDR1 cell monolayers was not concentration-dependent and saturable and behaved purely passive diffusion.Results showed significant increasing PAPP value of puerarin in both directions(P<0.05)when transported with puerarin microemulsion.The Papp(A→B)value was(1.64±0.08)and the Papp(B→A)value was(1.86±0.17)and RE of puerarin was(1.14±0.07)(Table 1) .
