《A novel approach to predict green density by high-velocity compaction based on the materials informatics method》
To validate the accuracy of the green density prediction models,we compared the predicted green density with the experimental green density.The validation dataset was obtained by experiment.It consists of 14 instances that are not included in the training set of 223 instances listed in Table 2.We chose such samples for their large variability of chemical composition and different compacting energies to ensure the accuracy of the predictions.A comparison of the predicted values of the four models reveals that the MLP model outperforms the other models.Large errors due to over-fitting occurred in the other three models.MLP was therefore selected for further model validation.
