The summary statistics for SWC in the 0–100 cm soil profile are shown in Table 1.The values of SWC in various soil depths ranged from 0.002 to 0.450 g/g，with 0.083（±0.067）g/g in the 0–100cm soil profile across the Hexi Corridor.The maximum value of SWC was 0.450 g/g in the 20–40cm layer.The coefficient of variation of SWC in different layers ranged from 80.4%to 90.8%，indicating a moderate variability of SWC（Shao et al.，2006）.The one-sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov Test showed that the values of SWC were log-normally distributed in various depths.
