Comparisons of sensitivity:cytology vs.cellblock（P<0.001）；biopsy vs.cellblock（P<0.001）；biopsy vs.cytology（P=0.546）；biopsy vs.top（P=0.119）；and biopsy vs.bottom（P=0.175）.

This study has several strengths.First，we compared the diagnostic accuracies of BS and TS of cytologic smears from EUS-FNA for the first time.Many studies have evaluated the diagnostic accuracy of EUS-FNA cytology；however，all these studies reflect on overall cytology results considering both the BS and TS set together[11–16].We inceptively considered the BS and TS sets separately.Second，this study showed the complementation of biopsy and cytologic smears because 7（9.6%）cases would be misdiagnosed by examining only one slide set（Table 5）.
