A total of 136 Child–Pugh grade A HCC patients were enrolled in this study.All of the patients were graded as either ALBI grade I(grade I group,n=80)or II(grade II group,n=56)pre-operatively.Table 1 shows the clinical characteristics of patients depending on pre-operative ALBI grade.Clinical characteristics were comparable between the two groups except for age,Child–Pugh grade,albumin,microscopic vascular invasion and differentiation.During median follow-up period of 51.5 months,the number of patients with recurrences and deaths was 76(55.9%)and 46(33.8%),respectively.There was one surgery-related death(0.7%).
