Fourteen patients withdrew during the 8-week courseof the study，and 4 patients were withdrawn from the study for commencing a variety of relevant medications during the study period.Baseline characteristics of the patients are shown in Table 3.Patient groups were similar in terms of gender distribution，age，and weight.There were no significant differences among patients in the 3 groups in terms of laboratory variables，duration of the disease or the total severity of symptoms.Compliance with study medication was at a high level and showed no statistical difference among the groups（95.2%for the Amiodarone group，96.3%for the DXR group and94.5%for the DCA group）.
