Using DEAP software,agricultural production efficiency and scale reward in 18 counties and cities of Taiwan are analyzed,and the results are shown as Table 1.When external environmental factors are not considered,the mean of comprehensive technical efficiency of agricultural production of2013 in Taiwan is 0.737,pure technical efficiency is 0.848,and scale efficiency is 0.882.Among them,comprehensive technical efficiency,pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency of agricultural production in New Taipei City,Kaohsiung City,Changhua County,Nantou County and Pingtung County are all 1,which is at the forefront of technical efficiency;pure technical efficiency or scale efficiency in other counties and cities does not reach the forefront of production.Since the result is affected by random and environmental factors,and could not truely reflect actual agricultural production efficiency in each county and city of Taiwan,environmental influence needs to be removed at the second stage for further analysis and measurement.
