Comparing the outpatient satisfaction in four rounds of evaluations during 2016—2019,we found that the overall outpatient satisfaction in the 4th round of evaluation in 2019 in the eastern,central and western regions was at the same level as that of the 1st round of evaluation in2016.Outpatient satisfaction with payment method(5.8%)and self-service inquiry and report printing(5.4%)increased significantly in the eastern region.The outpatient satisfaction with self-service inquiry(9.5%)and report printing and drinking water service(7.45%)increased significantly in the central region.For the western region,the outpatient satisfaction with payment method,selfservice inquiry,report printing and drinking water services improved 16.5%,16.3%and 12.1%respectively.It is worth noting that the outpatient satisfaction with the hospital information system increased from 79.3%in 2016 to over90%in 2019 in the western region.However,the outpatient satisfaction with the hospital environment was lower than80%in the western region in the 4th round of evaluation in 2019.Improvement of hospital environment should be one of the priorities of healthcare improvement in western region hospitals.
