The steel casing（pipe regarded as steel casing）absorption coefficients are obtained from Table 1（Yu et al.，2005）.In the cases where no exact thickness is found in the table，linear interpolation should be used to calculate the absorption coefficient，using the two adjacent thickness values.Afterwards，the consideration of the condition of the pipes in the hole is required to calculate the thickness of the water absorption layer.The water absorption coefficients are listed in Table 2（Yu et al.，2005）.Similarly，in the cases where no exact thickness is found in the table，linear interpolation should be used to calculate the water absorption coefficient，using the two adjacent thickness values.
