Tables 1-3 present the specifications of the hot-induction-bend and line-pipe combinations that are investigated in this study as w ell as their chemical composition and mechanical performance.Each of the above satisfies the requirements of API 5L and the technical standards that w ere established for the second w est-east gas transmission pipeline.Because the carbon equivalent of the hot-inductionbend pipe is higher than that of the line pipe，in principle，its w eldability w ill be poorer than that of the line pipe.The elongation of the body of the hotinduction-bend pipe is less than that of the line pipe.
