By applying these criteria,only two of the seventyfour isolates,Photobacterium angustum QY26 and Photobacterium leiognathi W214 are defi ned as piezophiles,with the ratio+/-pressure of 1.30 and1.40,respectively(Fig.3 and Table 2).Fifty-three strains(72%of all the isolates)are sensitive to high pressure,and 19 isolates(26%of all the isolates)are not remarkably aff ected by increased pressure(Fig.3and Table 2).
