《Table 1 Result of two samples》
In the present work,gamma rays with the energy of 9.17 MeV from13(p,γ)14 N resonance reaction at Ep=1.75 MeV were used.The cross section measurement on 197 Au(γ,n)reaction has been done offline.The experiment setup is shown in Fig.1.Results of two samples were given in Table 1.In order to get accurate value of197 Au(γ,n)cross section,the depth distribution of 196 Au in target and the attenuation of gammaray emitted from196 Au inside the target have all been taken into account.Two 197 Au targets have been irradiated for about 6and 5.5h,respectively.For the sake of reducing the contamination from short-lived nuclei,the measurement by using well shielded HPGe detector was suspended for about 3hafter irradiating.The decay spectrum is shown in Fig.2.The cross section of197 Au(γ,n)at 9.17MeV was last determined to be(45.4±6.9)mb from two rounds of experiment.
