As shown in Table 5,the Cd content in rice root,stalk,leaf and grain was significantly decreased(P<0.05)after spraying slaked lime at the different growing stages.Among them,compared with the control,the Cd content in root system was decreased by 28.3%~40.0%,the Cd content in stalk was decreased by 15.5%~33.7%,the Cd content in leaf was decreased by 15.2%~49.5%,and the Cd content in brown rice was decreased by 23.3%~57.5%;the T4 had the maximal Cd reduction in the Cd content,followed by the T5 and the T6.This showed that the effects of spraying slaked lime on rice in the Cd content at the 3 stages which involve the tillering stage,the heading stage,the dough stage,were better than at the 2 stages involving the tillering stage and the heading stage which was better than at the one stage(the tillering stage).
