As shown in Table 7,spraying pokeberry root powder on rice at the different growing stages could significantly(P<0.05)decrease the Cd content in root,stalk,leaf and brown rice,which was significantly different(P<0.05),obviously lower than that of the control.Compared with the control,Cd content in root system was decreased by 19.6%~38.4%,by 12.8%~35.8%in stalk,by 12.2%~48.1%in leaf,and by19.2%~53.4%in brown rice;the T7 had the biggest drop reduction of Cd and the Cd content in brown rice was the lowest with a drop of 53.4%than that of the control.This showed that the effects of spraying the suspension of pokeberry root powder on rice in the Cd content at the 3 stages which involve the tillering stage,the heading stage,the dough stage,were better than at the 2 stages involving the tillering stage and the heading stagewhich was better than at the one stage(tillering stage).
