The patients that were diagnosed with CTPV included 27 with hepatitis B cirrhosis,2 with hepatitis C cirrhosis,7 with alcoholic cirrhosis,3 with autoimmune cirrhosis,2 with chronic myeloproliferative disorders,6 with prothrombotic disorders and 20with cryptogenic cirrhosis.Nineteen patients had splenectomy for11.63±6.40 years(range of 1–28 years).Preoperative Child-Pugh classifications were A in 45%(30/67),B in 49%(33/67)and C in 6%(4/67).Table 1 shows the demographic and clinical characteristics of patients.
