a BE4.3 and MCP2.15 do not crystallize during cooling at-10°C/min,but they exhibit cold crystallization during the subsequent heating process. For BE4.3and MCP2.15,the crystallization temperatures given in Table 1 correspond to the peak temperature of co

The materials studied in present work include a polybutane-1(PB-1)homopolymer and two series of butene-1 random copolymers, which are butene-1/ethylene(BE)and butene-1/1,5-hexadiene random copolymers. The homopolymer and two butene-1/1,5-hexadiene random copolymers with0.65 mol%and 2.15 mol%methylene-1,3-cyclopentane(MCP)co-units,were synthesized using dimethylpyridylamidohafnium catalyst, which has been described before[22,24].The two butene-1/ethylene random copolymers with 1.5 mol%and 4.3 mol%ethylene co-units were provided by Lyondell Basell Industries, which have grade names of PB8640 and PB8220,respectively.For all polymers studied, detailed molecular characteristics and physical properties are summarized in Table 1.
