《Preparation of Porous Polylactide Microspheres and Their Application in Tissue Engineering》
In the emulsion solvent evaporation method,the removal rate of organic solvent was reported to play an important role in deciding the morphology of microspheres.In this study,ethyl acetate and chloroform were chosen to prepare microspheres with different porous structures due to their different solvent removal rates[23].In addition,NH4HCO3 was also used in the inner aqueous phase to change the porous structure of PLA microspheres.Table 1 shows the preparation parameters of PLA microspheres with different porous structures.
