According to Table 3，regions with basically stable NPP in Guangxi take up the largest area，followed by regions with slight decline，regions with slight increase rank third，regions with significant increase rank fourth，and regions with significant decline are the fewest.The regions with basically stable，slight decline，slight increase，significant increase，and significant decline of NPP is 136 841.79，91 783.1，7 357.2，41.13，and 8.475 km2，respectively.For the area of each grade of NPP variation，according to Table 3，it can be known that regions with basically stable NPP include Baise，Hechi，and Nanning；regions with slight decline of NPP but large area include Baise，Hechi，and Guilin；regions with slight decline of NPP but small area include Yulin，Fangchengang，and Beihai；regions with slight increase of NPP and large area include Chongzuo，Yulin，Fangchenggang，and Wuzhou.In terms of the vegetable NPP variation area，Baise has the largest area of slight NPP decline，basically stable NPP，and significant NPP increase，19 164.31，16 215.75，and 12.96 km2，respectively；Beihai has the smallest area of slight NPP decline，slight NPP increase，and significant NPP increase，357.95，27.22，and 0.5 km2，respectively；Yulin has the large area of basically stable NPP and slight decline of NPP，9 359.98 and 2 166.08 km2，respectively；Laibin has the smaller area of slight NPP increase，74.3 km2.The study indicates that there are great differences in the spatial distribution of NPP variations in Guangxi.Regions with slight decline of NPP are mainly distributed in the northeastern Guangxi，such as Baise and Hechi；regions with slight increase of NPP are mainly distributed in the southern Guangxi，such as Fangchenggang and Yulin，and regions with basically stable NPP are mainly distributed in southeastern Guangxi，such as Guigang and Wuzhou.The vegetable NPP variations in Guangxi are mainly basically stable，and area of NPP variation grade of cities is different from each other.
