Among the well documented species in this subgenus,the barcoding threshold is set from the lowest p-distance between B.tau sensu stricto and B.cucurbitae,which yield 0.033(Table 4).According to the phylogenetic tree,the lowest interspecific p-distances of Gr.I and Gr.II were computed against B.tau form C.On one hand,the p-distance between Gr.I and B.tau form C is lower than the barcoding threshold,implying that Gr.I belongs to B.tau form C.On the other hand,the lowest p-distance between Gr.II and B.tau form C is greater than the barcoding threshold,suggesting that the genetic variation between them is considerable at the species level.Therefore,Gr.I and B.tau form C were merged and recalculated as a single species.
