The last two columns of Table 3 provide the estimation results of long-term income growth effects by excluding the GGP subsidy from the explained variable, and Column(3-4)indicates that no significant changes have occurred in per capita income without subsidy after the implementation of GGP.This implies that farmers’income growth is primarily derived from the GGP subsidy. In further,by observing the effects in each following years after GGP,we found that the result remains insignificant in the first three years and per capita income increased by 119 yuan in the fourth year. However,it should be noted that only the household who participated in the GGP in 2007 would experience the fourth year of the GGP.Hence,it cannot be concluded whether or not the income growth result in the fourth year is robust.
