Four patients did not present postoperative complications.One presented fever（39oC）and a subphrenic abscess and another presented an evisceration that was repaired surgically performing wound closure alone.One of the patients had low blood pressure，tachycardia and cyanosis in limbs，leading to death on post-operative day 2.No data regarding postoperative outcome were recorded in two cases.In five cases follow-up after the postoperative period was recorded，for a mean period of 35 mo（range:4-144 mo），and there were no recurrences.
