Radius of curvature（Rc）is a measure of the‘tightness’of a single meander bend and is inversely correlated with sinuosity.The Rc is measured by the radius of a circle that fits the meander arc from the outside of the bank-full channel to the crossing point of two lines that perpendicularly bisect the tangent lines of each meander departure point（Figures 8 and 9）.The Rc near Patuli bend was 915 m in 2017 and was 597 m in 1968（Figure 10 and Table 2）increasing by 318 m from 1968 to 2017，while near Dampal bend maximum Rc listed in2017 was 1270 m and it increased by 650 m（Figure 11 and Table 3）from 1968（620 m）to2017（1270 m）.Near Purbasthali bend，the Rc increased from 1035 m to 1295 m during the period of 1968–1987（Figure 12）.
