《Effects of electrode configuration on electroslag remelting process of M2 high-speed steel ingot》
The model of two electrode-configuration modes is shown in Fig.2(a).The origin of the coordinates is set at the slag/metal interface,and the Z-axis is vertical in the ESR system.The model was meshed as shown in Fig.2(b).Firstly,density of the current and electromagnetic was calculated by the magnetic vector method in ANSYS APDL software.Then the obtained Joule heat and electromagnetic force in slag pool were coupled into ANSYS CFX software to calculate the temperature and flow.The geometrical parameters,operating conditions and physical properties are shown in Table 1.
