Conserved marker proteins are generally used in phylogenetic reconstruction.These conserved marker proteins are typically identified as single copy genes and,ideally,free of lateral transfers for the data set in question(Guy et al.,2014).Previous studies usually concatenated multiple marker proteins into supermatrix in the construction of tree of life(Table 2).Some studies used standard proteins(non-recoded proteins)while other studies used recoded proteins to reconstruct phylogenetic tree(Table 2).
