The leaching experiments were performed using a500-m L three-necked glass reactor flask fitted with a mechanical stirrer(Heidolph RZR 2020 and IKA RW 20)and immersed in a temperature-controlled water bath(Memmert)heated to the required temperature;the reaction conditions were kept constant under 100 kPa.A condenser was used to prevent solution loss by evaporation during the leaching experiment.A 100-mL nitric acid solution of predetermined concentration was added to the three-necked glass reactor, and the temperature of the solution in the glass reactor was measured with a portable digital thermometer. When the target temperature was reached, the celestite, which had been weighed on an analytical balance(Sartorius AX 224)with a sensitivity of 0.1 mg,was introduced into the reactor with a predetermined stirring speed. At the completion of the period of action, the pregnant solution was filtered using a funnel with a filter paper blue band;the experimental temperature was maintained. The nitric acid and water used in the experiments were of analytical purity. The chosen parameters for this study are given in Table 1;the experimental apparatus is shown in Fig.1.
