The high yield hybrid combination A1B1（5A×6150R）with high harvest index，which had a good performance in the above experiment，was tested in the high density group of the middle reaches of Yangtze River during the national oilseed rape regional test 2009~2011.The A1B1，with an average yields of 177.30 kg/667m2 by 11.7%higher than the control，was certified as one of the country’s first batch of oilseed rape varieties suitable for mechanized planting，and its certification name is Fengyou 737（Guoshenyou 2011015）.Since then，the Fengyou 737has been widely grown in over 10 provinces such as Jiangsu，Zhejiang，Anhui，Hunan，Hubei，Jiangxi and Shaanxi，and has been the largest-area grown oilseed rape variety in the country since 2015.In its largescale demonstrations in the above areas during 2010~2015，all the harvest indexes of the Fengyou 737 were over 0.33（Table 3），no matter it was planted under the conventional density or under the high density.The variety with a plant height of about 1.6m was especially suitable for mechanized close planting mode.Therefore，it has been widely recognized by oilseed rape growers and popular among them.
