The curvature radius is the most important feature of the linear charge with curvature,which is different from a linear charge closed in the length direction.The change in curvature radius can lead to position changes of the detonation front acting on the liner,and changes in the flow direction of the liner microelement.Therefore,this study focuses on the effects of different curvature radii in the length direction on the forming process of LEFP.In the numerical simulation,the other parameters of the linear charge with curved liner are set as L=70mm,W′=26mm,H=30mm,T=2.5mm,W=20mm,β=60°,and t1=2.5.The curvature radii Ra are 61,70,82.8,102,135,and 200mm,respectively.For a given charge length,the central angleαin the length direction can be expressed asα=2arcsin(L2Ra);therefore,the corresponding angles are 70°,60°,50°,40°,30°,and 20°,respectively.The simulation results are presented in Table 1.The shapes on the longitudinal section(including the tail fractures)at different periods in the LEFP forming process are given.The five periods are 0,36,72,108,and 160μs,respectively.At the same time,the axial velocity Vyof the LEFP at steady state,the utilizationηof the liner(here,η=m1/m0,where m0is the initial quality of liner and m1is the quality of the formed penetrator),and the kinetic energy Eof the continuous stable part of LEFP at 160μs are obtained.
