The values followed by different lower case letters were significantly different at P﹤0.05.

As shown in Table 1,all the three treatments with coloring agents had a significant effect on leaf color indices of C.comosum var.variegatum.a*,b*and L*in all the three treatments gradually increased over time after the addition of coloring agents.On day 20 of staining treatment,the a*value in treatments T2and T3was significantly higher than that in T1and CK,while the a*value in T1treatment was significantly lower than that in the other three treatments.On day 60 of staining treatment,the a*value in treatments T1,T2,T3and CK was increased by 12.32%,7.35%,7.78%and-0.52%,respectively,indicating that the green color of the leaves was decreased and the red color was increased by the treatment with coloring agents.In addition,in a decreasing order of a*value on day 60,the four treatments were T3>T2>T1>CK,and the a*value in Treatment T3was significantly higher than that in T1and CK,and the a*value in CK was significantly lower than that in the other three treatments.On day 20 of staining treatment,the a*value in T2and T3was significantly higher than that in other treatments,while the a*value in CK was significantly lower than that of the other treatments;the b*value of T1,T2,T3and CK was increased by 38.08%,0.30%,3.64%and 2.90%,respectively.The results showed that the blue color was weakened and the yellow color was enhanced,and the effect in T1was most obvious.In a decreasing order of b*value on day 20,the four treatments were T1>T3>T2>CK,with significant differences in b*value.The L*value of T3was significantly lower than that of T2and CK on day20,and the L*value in T1,T2,T3and CK was increased by16.77%,7.95%,16.78%and 6.14%,indicating the leaf brightness was increased.In a decreasing order of L*value,the four treatments were T1>T3>CK>T2,and the L*value in T1and T3were significantly greater than that in T2and CK.
