《Diversification of ammonia-oxidizing microorganisms in seven geographically different paddy soils in Sichuan》
Note:The different superscript letters indicate significant difference(P<0.05);otherwise,insignificant(P>0.05).
The community structures of AOA and AOB were revealed by fingerprinting analysis of bacterial and archaeal amoA genes in the triplicate field plots of all soil samples(Fig.2a and Fig.2c).Highly reproducible DGGE fingerprints were obtained in the triplicate of each soil sample. The diversities of AOA and AOB were indicated by Shannon’s diversity index(H),richness(S)and Evenness(Eh),which were calculated by the relative abundances of various DGGE fingerprints in different paddy soil samples(Table 4).The H and S indexes of AOB communities in CD,NC,XC,BZ,PZH and GA samples were clearly higher when compared with their corresponding indexes of AOA,whereas an opposite trend was observed in the MY sample. All paddy soil samples showed similar values for species evenness(Table 4).
