The initial search retrieved 162 titles.Two expert reviewers screened the papers independently,and after the removal of studies not meeting the inclusion criteria,32full-text papers were included(Figure 2).All included papers refer to 3D printing applications strictly related to liver surgery.Characteristics,such as the study type,the field of application,the study setting,the clinical or practical outcome and the time and cost required,were extracted and are presented(Table 1).
