With the rapid urbanization that the continent is undergoing，some urban areas have been encountering exponential population growth.Table 1 clearly illustrates some of the fastest growing cities on the continent. According to projections，by the year 2035，the continent will have 5 cities that will have reached the status of megacities which is defined as a city with over 10 millioninhabitants.
